Almost forgot: something red hot from Easter

I was supposed to post a look during easter holiday and I took photos and all but then I simply didn't have the time to post it. I can't remember what I used but I wanted to share these pics because I have never before worn red eyeshadow and been pleased with the results.

I wish I had taken better pics but I was in a kind of hurry as we were going to have Easter dinner with my boyfriend's parents. And actually, this look was my boyfriend's idea. he wanted me to do "an Easter Egg look" and said that I should wear red.

The look was very wearable and I didn't feel self-conscious at all. Success!

Red for Easter, j'adore :D!
Would you mind sharing what products you used for this?

Hi Cris :) And thank you! Hmm.. I really have to think because I really forgot to post this..

I can't remember all but the yellow eyeshadow is Lime Crime's Circus Girl. The coral shade on the middle of eyelid I can't remember.. The matte red I used in outer vee and crease is FaceFront's Rally Rally Red. Eyeliner is MAC's Fluidline in Blacktrack. Mascara is Dior Diorshow Waterproof in Black. Blush.. again, I can't remember. Foundation is definitely Meow Cosmetics Pampered Puss foundation in Inquisite Himalayan. I used MAC's Big Bow lipstick (from Hello Kitty Collection) on lips.

I think this proves that I have too much makeup :P

I'm glad you like my blog :)

I have too much make-up too, it's why I have a make-up blog :-P, lol.

Thanks :). I've always wanted to try Lime Crime :D, and now I'll have to check out that FaceFront brand too - I love red :).

Lime Crime has really fabulous colours, I love it. They are very pigmented, too so a little goes a long way.
FaceFront is a bit iffy. Because the site doesn't have decent swatches, you may get something completely different from what you've might expected. Also, they've had problems with customer service. But the products are of good quality. Google swatches before you order and you'll get some idea on what you'd like.

I like it ;)
I actually think that Rally Rally Red is a nice shade on you. It doesn't compete with your hair.

Oh man! I'm loving this red! Sorry, I've obviously been spending too much time away from your blog :) Not sure I could get away with this look, but man is that red amazing...
