The Post That Had To Be Deleted

Yeah, you've probably noticed that I had to remove my latest rant post. I got an e-mail about libel, copyright infringement and reporting me to Blogger. The funniest thing was that the person who sent it to me, Jenna Whitman from Stardust Cosmetics, had confused my first name with another blogger. People, when you copy&paste an e-mail, change the name of the recipient so they'll feel more special receiving it.

Feeling really angry

Yesterday when I came home, I noticed that I had received a Cease & Desist from a certain person who's been sending these to other people as well.

I'm certainly very angry at this point because I feel like I'm being threatened without justification.

However, my address and the address of the sender were handwritten. I expect to receive a bit more official looking mail from a law firm. I haven't opened the letter yet because I need to take some photos of it.

Although I KNOW that there's just no base for these kinds of letter as I've not written anything in blog about the said person and the company, I feel extremely angry that people think they can act like this. I know my rights in this matter but I'm concerned that bloggers will not dare to express their honest OPINIONS when these things happen. I've already read comments from other blogs that people are afraid to write anything negative in their blogs because they feel like someone can come after them. This means that the scare tactics are working which to me is sad.

I will, however, continue to write honest opinions in my reviews and other posts. I will not praise products that do not please me or recommend companies that I don't find worth recommending for.

I WILL NOT TOLERATE BULLYING.
