I love black nail polishes. So when I saw Color Club's Revvvolution, I went to a nail salon I've visited a few times and got it (I also got some Konad stuff, too, but that'll be a different post).
It's a black holographic polish! I can't stop staring at my nails because they look so cool! You can see the holographic effect in these photos but for better pics, check out Scrangie's blog (for example) or google 'Revvvolution' and you get zillions of hits.
Isn't it gorgeous? Hehee, my nail pics are a bit nerdy, I just love Terry Pratchett :)

It's fricking gorgeous! My boyfriend teases me about how I'm looking at my nails all the time but I can't help it! I tried Konad on my left index finger and it turned out alright. I have to post a pic of this significant event *lol*

Yum! Nyt pitäisi vaan vielä opetella lakkaamaan kynnet... Mä melkein onnistuin eilen, mutta kynsiin tuli outoja ilmakuplia ja tietenkin kaks vekkiä, kun ei ollut tarpeeksi kuivaa... uups (mun mielestä Terry Pratchett ja musta kynsilakka on hyvä yhdistelmä :P)
Phyrra: I'm so glad I bought this. I was going back and forth trying to decide whether to buy this or Color Club's Ultra Violet. I decided to go with this because I have nothing like it. And I'm really glad I did!

Now I want to try grey. Can't do black 'cause it sadly makes my skin look rotten :-P...Lol. I do love dark reds & blues though :).
And you're not as bad as me - I've been known to stare at my lip colour when it's beautiful (MAC Ruby Woo comes to mind). That must look incredibly narcissistic to others.
Cris, I think this black is incredibly flattering because the holographic finish makes it look more matte, almost charcoal grey.
Teehee, I do that too :D But hey, appreciating beauty makes even the greyest of days seem more interesting ;)
